Project Management
Factors that determine the success of a project

1. The objective must be clear, realistic and transparent

Even if the implementation is done using agile methodologies, you can hardly pay too much attention to this point.

2. Clarity in the relationship within the project team, the client and the stakeholders

Roles and responsibilities must be clarified as clearly as possible. Leaving things in the dark at the beginning leads to serious problems later.

3. The working atmosphere must be such that issues are addressed directly by all involved persons

We all know those projects where "all green" is reported until it is no longer possible, but the team has known for a long time that it won't work like this.

4. References are the key in IT projects both for the selection of software and the choice of implementation partner

You get authentic information when you talk directly to the people responsible for implementation, not just the managers who decided to buy a particular software.

5. You must keep control and steering

If the success of the project cannot be delivered "turnkey" by the supplier, and the input of your employees is necessary, you must not give up the overview and overall project control.
